"Chocks away!" As another week begins here's a round up of the past seven days which were very hot and equally busy.
As well as his regular workshops at The Northam Care Trust , Nanstallon Primary School and with SNAP - Inclusive Performing Arts Club, Rob Pudner paid two Entertainingly Different visits to Tiverton - firstly to lead a book assembly and book focussed workshops at Wilcombe Primary School and secondly in the guise of Major Lee Wild to help launch this Summer's reading challenge at Tiverton Library where he had the pleasure of catching up with the town's Mayor - the lovely Susie Griggs. Following a whole morning of stories and silliness and after taking a little ride in the tuk-tuk the Major and his mustache headed to Lapford Revel for an afternoon of family fun in the sun.
Finally Rob had the priviledge of entertaining young and old alike at Children's Hospice South West Fly Day 26 where whilst remaining on terra firma he got to enjoy some fabulous singing from Meg Scoins Vocalist whilst he connected with all the lovely families.
As you can clearly see he just couldn't resist giving his moustache another airing which caused much amusement but we do think it rather suits him don't you?
After Monday's visit to Widewell School much of last week saw Rob Pudner pressing on with paperwork and actioning outstanding administration although he did pull himself away from the PC for sun drenched games of both frisbee and football in the park with SNAP - Inclusive Performing Arts Club on Thursday evening and a visit to Nanstallon Primary School on Friday where amongst other things there was some parachute play.
On Saturday afternoon he had the pleasure and priviledge of providing some family fun to kick off Hendrix Fest 2026 - remembering a special little boy whilst raising funds for the amazing Marching on with Hendrix, so of course he donned the spotty suit to.honori his greatly missed boy too. The day finished by crossing the border into Somerset where he performed one of his Entertainingly Different family shows at Home Farm Holiday Park.
This week is looking much busier practically and includes exciting engagements at Tiverton Library, Lapford Revel and something rather special for Children's Hospice South West.
Well believe it or not it has been a whole three weeks since we last posted so just before we leave the month of June behind and whilst Rob Pudner prepares himself for a couple of rather busy Summer months here's an Entertainingly Different catch up for those of you who have been wondering.
As well as his regular visits to The Northam Care Trust and Nanstallon Primary School Rob has had plenty of fun in the sun and the pleasure of providing interactive entertainment for Lanivet Youth Football Club, Copplestone Fun Day, Clawton Primary School's 150th Birthday Celebrations, Coldridge Fete and Vintage Rally, The Hurdlestone Challenge and just yesterday he facilitated Circus skills sessions in Plymouth for Widewell School's Military Day.
We were delighted to work alongside our good friends at Prosound Solutions SW Limited not once but three times over the past week which as always added to the enjoyment of these engagements.
Did you attend any of these Devon events? If so we would love to read your comments/see your photos and videos - so please feel free to share with us below and share this post as necessary.
Two weeks ago Rob Pudner visited BBC Radio 2 where he had the pleasure of chatting live to The Jeremy Vine about his gorgeous boy 'T', what's helped him navigate the past seventeen months without him and how his Entertainingly Different engagements continue to keep him afloat.
If you haven't heard the full interview yet it is still available online by following the link below (starting at approximately 1hr 6mins in)![]()

Last Wednesday after a rescheduled visit to Nanstallon Primary School near Bodmin Rob Pudner headed just a few miles further down the road and pitched up his camper van in readiness for three days at the Royal Cornwall Show.
The weather was rather hit and miss on Thursday but spirits were not dampened and the show's very own superhero dodged the showers to do what he does best.
Things improved massively on Friday and he enjoyed another day skating around the site and performing in front of the east gate stage. Sadly the strong winds and rain stopped play on Saturday as with health and safety at it's heart the difficult decision was made to cancel the last day of the show.
As you can imagine Rob was massively disappointed but nevertheless he'd had a lovely couple of days - he was treated to some Cornish fayre by Ann's Pasties and Rodda’s Cornish Clotted Cream and he connected/reconnected with lots of lovely people.
📷 If you were one of these people then please let us know in the comments below and if you were quick enough to catch Super Rob on camera we'd love you to share your snaps with us.
