With the Easter holidays drawing to a close and the start of the Summer term just around the corner let's take this opportunity to look at what Rob Pudner has been up to since the last time we posted.
Entertainingly Different engagements have seen Rob performing his family friendly shows at The Manor & Ashbury Resorts and Clawford Lakes where he was joined by his beautiful boy Jasper, Woolacombe Bay Hotel and also a new venue for him - Home Farm Holiday Park where he seemed to be on brand with his choice of suit and he was excited to meet Hooty - one of the park's mascots.
He had the pleasure of providing interactive entertainment for a dinosaur themed 6th birthday party and a joint 40th birthday celebration. He paid his regular visit to Rose Hill (The Northam Care Trust) and was absolutely delighted to be invited as a special guest to see Oh Zeus! at Exeter Northcott which is the latest offering from Le Navet Bete. He's pictured here with Matt, Al and Nick the extremely talented and absolutely hilarious performers.
📷 As always we would kindly ask that if you saw Rob in action that you share any pics/videos/comments with us below as we love to see them.
Happy New Financial Year! Here's a look back at the final Entertainingly Different engagements of the last one. . . . .
On the last Saturday of March Rob Pudner and his much talked about spotty suit had the pleasure of joining Chris from The Boogie Woogie Disco & Entertainments at the Royal Hotel in Bideford to help give the lovely Kate a 60th Birthday party to remember before he headed straight to the The Manor & Ashbury Resorts to kick-start his Easter bookings. On Monday he celebrated his own Birthday and spent the morning volunteering with the Mental Health Group in Okehampton where he was presented with a cake which he shared with the group before visiting Okehampton College to facilitate a session with some of the Neurodiverse Students. On Wednesday he literally hopped into Rose Hill ( The Northam Care Trust) and on Thursday he donned his orange suit and has the pleasure of acting as MC for Nanstallon Primary School's Poetry Festival. He was in a pretty bouncy mood by the time he got back to SNAP - Inclusive Performing Arts Club. Saturday saw family friendly shows at both Saunton Sands Hotel and the Manor and yesterday he popped on his rather splendid bunny ears one final time for some egg-citing interactive antics at Clawford Lakes.
📷 As always we would love to read your comments or see your pictures/videos if you caught Rob in action - please post below.
Did you hear our very own Rob Pudner chatting to Jeremy Vine on Radio 2 yesterday afternoon about the connection between his Entertainingly Different spotty suit and his gorgeous and deeply missed 'T'?
If you missed it have no fear as here it is.
Happy World Theatre Day Everyone.
Twenty-two years ago the Entertainingly Different Rob Pudner was busy adding the finishing touches to the Plough Youth Theatre's production of 'Bugsy Malone' which opened at the Plough Arts Centre, Great Torrington on the 30th March 2004 which incidentally is Rob's Birthday.
Here is a shot of the infamous splurge scene which literally took the audience's breath away during the final moments of the musical production. There was a custard pie stain on the back curtains for many years!
Perhaps you saw the show or were even in it - please let us know in the comments below.
Yesterday afternoon thanks to kind support from Okehampton United Charities Rob Pudner paid the first of three Entertainingly Different visits to Okehampton College where he had the pleasure of working with the Neurodiverse Student Group who had opted to participate in his session.
